Installation of MSstats in skyline failed

Dear MSstats team,

I am wondering why the installation of the MSstats package in Skyline is failing everytime. I tried to do it in several computers but the same issue appeared. Attached is the error occuring. Thank you for the support.

Hi,

the log indicates that installation of ggplot2 (a dependency of MSstats) failed. However, I can't see the full error message, so it's impossible to tell what was the reason for this. My best guess right now is that some system requirements were not available. Please post the full log.

I would like to see the rest of the log that you can see here. This is only the final part of the error message, and it does not provide the specific reason why installation of ggplot2 failed.

Hi,

this seems to be a known ggplot2 issue on MacOS, is this your OS? The solution here https://github.com/tidyverse/ggplot2/issues/6702 says that it should be enough to upgrade R to its latest version first.
