Hi all,

After seeing the last message about MSstats Plus, I decided to check it out. I definitely got some interesting results and want to use it more often. However, I am not able to check the model fit. When I Try:
                    #Check Model Fit
                    health_info = CheckDataHealth(msstats_input)
                    skew_score = health_info[[2]]

I got the following error:
                 Error in CheckDataHealth(msstats_input) :
                 could not find function "CheckDataHealth"

Also, I am currently using the "FGShapeQualityScore(MS2)", the FGShapeQualityScore(MS1) and the EGDeltaRT metrics for MSstats Plus. Are there any others I should add that are as important?

Thank you,

Roneldine

Hi Roneldine,

CheckDataHealth should be an exported function by MSstatsConvert. Can you try to run `MSstatsConvert::CheckDataHealth` and see if you get the same error?

In terms of columns used in the model, I have found that "FGShapeQualityScore(MS2)", the FGShapeQualityScore(MS1) and the EGDeltaRT are the best metrics at the moment. There may be others that provide additional insight, however I think these three give a good baseline of peak quality.

Thanks for the advice!

When I tried MSstatsConvert::CheckDataHealth, I get the following error:

Hi Roneldine,

What version of MSstatsConvert do you have installed?  CheckDataHealth should be exported in version 1.20.0, but if you have an older version of MSstatsConvert, then it won't be exported.

Thanks! I was using an older version, and now that I have updated it, I can do the Check step.
