Title: Windows Server Administration (Must Attend Face to face Interview)

Work Location: Sacramento Area Sewer District in Sacramento, CA
This is a position with our client, the County of Sacramento, Sacramento Area Sewer District in Sacramento. The position will be assigned to work at 10060 Goethe Road and 8521 Laguna Station Road in Sacramento. Some work may be performed remotely from the candidate’s home.
This position includes a diverse range of responsibilities, from server management and database administration to network and application management, that the role entails. It emphasizes both the technical aspects of the job, such as Active Directory and PowerShell scripting, as well as the support and maintenance aspects, like Jira ticket management and change management.
Responsibilities include:
Windows Server administration
Scripting in PowerShell for task automation
Managing Virtual Machines in a VMware vCenter Environment
Managing SAN storage technology (iSCSI/Fibre)
Knowledge of MECM/SCCM
Active Directory Group Policy management
Active Directory user and group management
File/Folder share and NTFS permissions by AD group
Shared Print Services
Business Printer management
Change Management
Accurately maintaining Jira tickets for assigned tasks
Knowledge & Experience
Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to apply them to systems issues and products as required.
Understanding of application development and software development life cycle concepts.
Experience with Atlassian products is a plus.
