The position is heavily focused on backend / middle-tier development of high-transaction applications. The platform sits between Healthcare and Insurance Companies, performing the real-time processing of the billing claims. As you can imagine, there is a lot of messaging and web services (SOA environment) that are being leveraged. You can expect for them to ask you technical questions about Core Java, Integration, Web Services / Messaging, your knowledge of SOA, Database topics, Spring, Hibernate, and JMS. Groovy and Grails are a plus…just part of their environment.
