Cruise to Hamburg Cove and Essex Island

Hello MSSA, 

Just a reminder the next cruise is coming up fast. We are heading to Hamburg Cove Wednesday July 31st 9:00am. Details are below.

At this time we have two boats joining us, Sol Mates and Ohana.

It’s not too late to join us for part or all of the cruise. 

Please let us know if you will be attending the cruise.

Hello MSSA,

It is almost time for the fourth cruise. This is a cruise not to be missed.

 

We will be leaving Wednesday July 31st at 9:00am for Hamburg Cove. This allows us to ride the tide to the CT River. 

Hamburg Cove is a beautiful setting. We will be staying two nights. You can pick up a rental mooring, cost is $40/night. Watch the sunset, swim in the freshwater cove or take out your Dingy to explore the River.

 

Friday August 2nd we leave for Safe Harbor Essex Island Marina which is about a quarter mile down the CT River. You can relax in the pool, barbecue, shuffle board, laundry facilities. You will need to make reservations on Dockwa.

Friday night we will be having dinner at Griswolds Inn. Please let us know if you will be joining us for dinner so we can make reservations. 

 

Saturday is the Lobster Bake in town. This you have to sign up for yourselves.

Attached please find the brochure for the Lobster Bake.

 

Please let us know if you will be attending the cruise or even part of the cruise.

PJYC has a number of boats that will be attending the lobster bake.  

Please let me know if you are planning to attend the lobster bake.  We will be putting out table cloths in the morning to reserve space for MSSA and PJYC.
