Missing race mark

[ROBERT WOZOWCZYK]

I was going to Port Jeff this morning and noticed race marker near Bella Terre. Is this one that was missing? Or is it Port Jefferson club. Could not get closer to take better picture as it is in shallow water.

This is the second report of a mark close to shore off PJ. I have no means of checking but Ill ask John who picks up the marks if he would be will to look.

I'm heading out to my boat tomorrow for the weekend..... If the weather is cooperating and its not too far down the coast I can take my dinghy over and take a look if nobody else has ventured over. Looks like it's close to our harbor entrance.

Yes, we also saw it. We contacted Ken and he is looking into it. Hopefully it is O. We think so, but it was hard to read and we could not get close either. We were headed to get the boat hauled out.

I drove over to the Beltare beaches and it looks like a PJYC race mark to me. I also see their other marks are still in.
