Marine electronics installer

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for someone reliable to install a new VHF radio (with DSC/GPS/AIS) and a Garmin ECHOMAP chartplotter on my Pearson 303. I’d rather not tackle the wiring myself and want it done right.

If you know a marine electronics installer in the area that you’ve had a good experience with, I’d really appreciate the referral.

You can try James Brennan who was once a member of our club. Last number I have from him was 631.433.2487.

 

If that does not work try Sea-Logic…. 631.298.7801. They are located in Mattituck but service our area…… he has done work for me years ago. He is also a sailor

Funny you mention…I have a guy coming on thuiesday called “Mr Mclights”. Based on LI ….https://www.mrmclights.com/

In addition to Crocodile, I have a 27 foot cobalt power boat at th stony brook YC and the GPS and stereo are on the fritz (think bad ground on gps and a failing amp - there are two -  with the stereo/sound)……he is coming Thursday (tomorrow) to sort out the issue…..see his website I put above …he seems to specialize in all marine electronics…… sounds very solid and knowledgable….. 

Will let you know how he is after tomorrow \

"Mr Mclights was excellent” (real name is mike)  …400$ and he fixed my stereo and gps….turned out to be corroded contacts and 400A circuit breaker near the main battery switch that fed the marine electronics…..also some corroded speaker wiring near one of the amplifiers…he spent about 2 hours ar my boat in the slip …I would recommend him if you are still looking ……..his website is in my previous email
