Dear MSSA members,

Please join us on Monday, December 8 at 7:30 PM at MSYC for our monthly meeting, which will include the election of the next Bridge, followed by a holiday party and a fun gift exchange with a twist. Keep your gift to around $25, and make it nautical, useful, or simply fun. Please also bring an appetizer or dessert—finger foods like cheese & crackers, chips & dip, or cookies work well. It’s always a lively and enjoyable evening, and a great way to celebrate the season together.

Dear MSSA members,

Please join us tonight @ 7:30 PM at the MSYC for our monthly meeting, which will include the election of the next Bridge, followed by a holiday party and a fun gift exchange with a twist (optional). Keep your gift to around $25, and make it nautical, useful, or simply fun. Please also bring an appetizer or dessert—finger foods like cheese & crackers, chips & dip, or cookies work well. It’s always a lively and enjoyable evening, and a great way to celebrate the season together.

We still urgently need a volunteer to step into the Vice Commodore position for 2026–2027.
This role is essential to the success of our club. The Vice Commodore oversees the racing program, coordinates the mooring and race mark work parties, and manages the details that keep our racing season running smoothly.

Without someone in this position, we may have to reduce our racing schedule and rely heavily on volunteers to cover key duties.

We’ve just celebrated our 50th anniversary as a sailing association — a milestone made possible by members who have stepped up over the years. I am asking our membership to consider taking on this important role so we can continue that tradition and ensure the club remains vibrant for decades to come.

If you have questions about the responsibilities or would like to discuss the position, please reach out to me or Ken Nilsen.
