Hello All,
Yesterday was Fall 2.  It was a beautiful day, but not very windy.  4 boats came out to race.  The course was (M) J S, which is to Rocky Point Can 9 and back.  Starting was difficult with very low wind at the start.  The wind built a little bit, but the tide shifted and was coming in very strongly.  On Organized Chaos we were only about 5 minutes late to cross the starting line, but some boats were struggling to get going.  By the time we got to Can 9 the tide was running very strongly which ended up helping us after we rounded since the wind decided to die down again.  We were gaining over 2 knots over the ground with the tide.  Our crew enjoyed the day and we were able to test out and use our newly installed lazy jack system - so far so good!

Next week is the ACS Regatta.  We look forward to a great Regatta!

Results attached.

Regards,
Audra Mammina

Thank you for getting a race in! The conditions looked testing when I went down to the play ground with the kids. At least it was a Beautiful day.

Fingers crossed for next Saturday. The forecast is all over the place. A nice sunny easterly 10 knots would be a nice change from the last two ACS regattas.
