Extracting IBD segments from .ts files

Hi, in a recent publication from msprime (link here),, exact IBD segments are extracted from msprime simulation output. I want to do similar things to explore IBD segments under different demographic situations. However, looking at the API of tskit and msprime, it doesn't seem clear how I might do this. Can someone point out which part of the API might be useful for this? Thanks a lot!
