Three lessons we should learn from an ant!

http://www.soil-net.com/album/Soil-Net/Cast/slides/ant_01.jpg

Lessons for a good and positive life are all around us. We need to have an open mind to observe, learn and apply our learning. One of favourite motivational speaker, Jim Rohn, during one of his lectures mentioned that we all can learn from ants!

Surprising –isn’t it?

What are the secrets of success which we can learn from ants?

Here are three (3) lessons- a summary of the ants’ philosophy from Jim Rohn:

1. Ants Never Quit
Just try to stop an ant with foot or some obstacle during her way. We all have noticed that an ant would change the path and would find another way to reach destination.

An ant will keep looking for a way out. Ant won’t just stand and wait for something to happen. Ant won’t give up and go back.

Learning:
It is said that winners never quit and those who quit never win. Here is an inspiring story of Mr. Honda: Delays are not God’s denial (attached for your review, which was earlier posted in our E-Portal)

We can live like ant and look for the way to reach our goal. There will always be obstacles in our lives. The challenge is to keep trying, keep looking for alternative routes to get to our goals – Goals, remember our write-up! “Achieving Our GOALS – In Only One Minute” (attached for your review, which was earlier posted)

Winston Churchill probably paraphrased the ant’s mindset when he offered this priceless advice: ‘Never give up. Never, never give up!’

2. Ants think winter all summer and summer all winter

Remember the old story of the ant and the grasshopper?

In the middle of summer, the ant was busy gathering food for the winter ahead – while the grasshopper was out having a good time. Ants know that summer– the good times – won’t last forever. Winters will come and winters will pass away.

When the going is good, we need not be arrogant and believe that a crisis or a setback cannot happen. Let’s be good to other people. Save for a rainy day. Let’s look ahead and let’s remember: tough times may not last, but tough people do.

3. Ants do all they possibly can

How much food does an ant gather in summer?

An ant gathers all the food that it possibly can! There are no‘targets’ or ‘budgets’ or ‘limits’ on the food collection.

We can learn from this – Let’s give the life best and we will never regret.

Ants don’t complain. They just work hard.

Success and happiness are usually the result of giving 100% to life. If we look around you, we’ll find that successful people are those who just do all they possibly can.

Let’s follow the three simple steps of Jim Rohn’s ‘Ant Philosophy’ – and we’ll see the difference.

Let’s not quit. Let’s look to the future with hope. Let’s stay positive.

Wish you good luck for all your future endorsements.

Best Regards,

Zeib
