Role Overview:

  • The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of enterprise-grade mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.
  • This role combines technical leadership with project management excellence to ensure timely, high-quality delivery aligned with business objectives, compliance standards, and user experience benchmarks.
  • You will work closely with product owners, engineering leads, UX/UI designers, QA teams, DevOps, and stakeholders across global markets to deliver scalable, secure, and performant mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, closure – for mobile application projects (native & hybrid).
  • Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Manage cross-functional teams (Android, iOS, Backend, QA, UX) across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Translate business requirements into technical project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and dependency mapping.
  • Drive agile delivery practices (Scrum/Kanban) with regular sprint planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder demos.
  • Monitor project health using KPIs such as velocity, cycle time, defect density, and release stability.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, escalations, and blockers; maintain transparent communication with executive stakeholders.
  • Own release planning, deployment coordination, and post-release support for mobile apps on App Store and Google Play.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in project management within software development, with at least some focused on mobile application development.
  • Experience with native technologies: Swift (iOS), Kotlin (Android), and hybrid frameworks (React Native, Flutter, Xamarin).
  • Strong understanding of mobile architecture, app performance optimization, offline capabilities, and secure authentication (OAuth, biometrics).
  • Hands-on familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI), version control (Git), issue tracking (Jira), and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and mobile backend services (Firebase, AWS Amplify).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with experience presenting to C-level executives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, Scrum Master (CSM), or SAFe certification.
  • Experience working with enterprise clients in public sector, healthcare, or financial services.
  • Exposure to AI-driven mobile applications or integration with generative AI platforms (e.g., AiDE).
  • Experience leading teams of 6+ members across multiple delivery centers.
  • Familiarity with Outsystems, Mulesoft, REST/SOAP APIs, and low-code platforms (a plus).
