Adding a Signature
Condensed Instructions
First create your graphic (GIF) and save it in your new folder (For example: "Asignature")
Next open FPE (or any html editor) and insert your graphic and any text or hyperlinks you want.
Save the file as signature.html (in a folder you can remember)
Keep the graphic (GIF) in that same folder.
MOST IMPORTANT PART:
Open the signature.html file in notepad and
make sure that the <img src= line reads as follows:
<img src="file:///C:/your_folder/your_signature.gif">
(Substitute your actual folder and GIF name and the -- file:///c:/ --
must be exact)Now open Outlook Express and click on tools, stationery, signature button.
Check the -- add this signature to all outgoing messages -- box.
Check the file box and browse to your signature.html
Click OK. (you must do this separately for news tab and mail tab)
Click apply, ok.
Now go to tools, options, send tab, check html for mail and news sending format.
Click ok.
That's it.

i now have signature folder, in it is my name gif and my name web page which is the gif inserted into the page then saved. still does not work, i know it must be something simple!!!!!!!!!!
