Hello Harold,

I'm running Mac, Debian, Mint, & xp-home on my MacBook, in seperate partitions using rEFIt.  I love it.

If you're already registered - thanks - I know several of you are. But
if you've not heard about the event, or haven't registered yet but are
waiting - this note is for you.

The fourth annual Missoula BarCamp is coming Saturday May 21 from 9am to
5:30pm to the Payne Family Native American Center on the University of
    Montana Missoula campus.

    http://missoulabarcamp.org

Be there - or else... be some other place. But - hope to see you there.
I miss the big MLUG & MWDG meetings from a few years ago and this will
be a friendly place for geeking out - though we will have some other
folks who might be willing to pay you for said geeking.

    Cheerio,
    Harold

P.S. For the Linux folks - I'm quite excited that I was able to run a
Linux only program on my Mac with an Ubuntu VM to get part of my work
done for SAP. Thank you Ubuntu! Thank you Parallels!

I'm sold on the use of virtual machines ... running XP pro & Win7 Pro
guests on an Ubuntu host via VirtualBox, and, if anyone has an
affordable, legal source for it, would like to try getting a version of
the Mac software going as well...Would the use of virtual machines be a
good topic for BarCamp this year?? Having the various systems ready, on
demand, sure makes some of the work I do, and tech-support for my
customers a lot easier.
