I just spoke to Nick Shontz, and he says that Zoo Town Brew (a coffee
shop) is a very nice space that might be more conducive than Sean
Kellys.

How does everyone feel about trying there for once? http://www.zootownbrew.com/

I vote we try it. It doesn't look like they have dinner, so don't come
hungry. They might be friendly outside food if you get a drink there.

Hey,

they have soup and some limited sandwiches, but the grilled cheese i
had today was amazing. it really seems to me like Sean Kelly's isn't
the best place to hold meetings, the wireless is always questionable
and presenting is nearly impossible.

i might suggest that we move the meeting back to 7, to give folks time
to eat elsewhere if they choose. Are any presentations happening this
week? i would still like to see something on webmin and/or plesk...

For those that attend the pub quiz and Sean Kelly's (and there is a surprising amount of cross-over) you may have already heard of my minor technological meltdown.

Getting things back up to primed condition must be a priority for me so I will be unable to attend this month's meeting.  As the person who offered to do a webmin presentation some months back, I felt it important to let y'all know.

With that said, I second the general move to 7.  It'd make my life easier.  And if there is serious interest in a presentation on web based control panels, I'd be happy to do one next month.

I'm also feeling pretty under the weather.  I don't think I'll be making it to tonight's meeting either.  Sorry :(

Well, I plan on showing up. Anyone want to volunteer to teach the
basic security model? I've not quite made sense of it yet.

Wow, as a recent Missoula arrival who uses Linux every day, I am
really bummed I missed this - didn't know about it or spaced it. Are
the meetings every first Thursday? Is there a Google Calendar I can
subscribe to?

Looking forward to meeting you all next time.

Hey,

yeah they are every first thursday, the best thing to do is watch this
group, Lunaz posts a reminder as to when and where. there doesn't seem
any way to hook a google calendar to the group, which is a little
crazy... some folks looked into it a while back (

I missed too. Bummed. And Chris, I was out of town when you checked
in. I hope you found it.
