With the help from a couple of you, I’ve created a full process for assisting the public with installing Linux
Mint on their personal computers. I've also started a Library - Linux User Group. (Many of you are members of the "Google - Linux User
Group"; this is a new startup group focused on Windows users moving to
Linux; with all monthly meetings and assistance centered at the Makerspace; for
now I'll call it the Library - Linux User Group.)
This coming Wed; Dec 3'rd at 2:30 PM, (4'th floor Blackfoot Room),
We're having our second Library Linux User Group meeting. At this
meeting, I'm going to overview the full "Linux Install Fest" process.
I'm hoping for your feedback on this process as well, as you'll find out soon, volunteers to
help install Linux Mint on client computer.
Read through the Process document or Flyer, on the website, to get a feel for the full install process.
I also hope to see some of you this Wed at the Library. If you can't make the Wed
afternoon meeting; I would still like our feedback and your comments on
volunteering.
