Just installed Google Chrome for Linux on my laptop...can you say "WOW."
I don't have benchmarks, or a stopwatch to prove it, but from my
perspective it's at least 3 or 4 times faster than Firefox -- and none
of those annoying typing-delay problems when using Facebook or
Wordpress. The Linux application is still in the beta/testing phase, but
it is sure impressive.

On the same topic: Has anyone else noticed a typing delay, with some
Web sites, when using Firefox, or its Debian version Iceweasel? That
was the reason I decided to try Chrome, and the same issues seemed to be
there with the Epiphany browser.

When searching for solutions I encountered several posts that mentioned
Gecko and the gtk-engine; and that it affected Ubuntu and Debian.

Explaining it in any more detail is over my head, but I would like to
know more.

Haven't tried chrome yet but have had typing issues in firefox at home
and at work. No idea what's causing it.
