Last week we had a great meeting--Seth brought in a SteamOS comp. and showed us some cool stuff and we played some games and tried out the Steam controller. One cool feature we talked about is the ability to stream games from e.g. a Windows machine to a Steambox in the living room.
We decided in the meeting to talk about git for next time. Sean uses git and has agreed to give a talk for the meeting, up to around the half-hour mark and then we'll have an open discussion. Hopefully this notice goes out soon enough that whoever is interested can begin to read up and use git. I've begun reading up on it myself, and it's a bit nuanced so I look forward to the discussion.
The git meeting will be Tuesday Jun. 10 at 7pm, at the Missoula Public Library in the Makerspace room (downstairs). Hope to see you there.
