You cannot use that code since it is an open surgical code only. Using it risks fraud charges, fines, etc. No CPT modifier will inform the ins co that is a percutaneous code.
The only codes you can use is either the carpal tunnel injection code 20526 or the nerve block code 64450, the later does pay more. You can add the US guyidance code, procedure tray code, and steroid med code (if used).

Jonathan, I pulled it off your superbill and Paul had it on his too. lol  Guess you changed since I've been there.

I use it with Workers Comp with prior approval, noting to them it is being done percutaneously. Same thing for the other neuroplasty codes.
