8/14 Meeting and 8/06 Meeting Recap

[MSJ TARC]

Hi all,

Thank you to all who came to our last meeting!

We went over:

• A basic overview of the contest, including this year's rules
• Rocket anatomy
• Schedule for the rest of the year:
• Weekly meetings will be held until school starts
• After that, individual teams will schedule meetings on their own
• How to use OpenRocket (this runs on Java, so make sure your computer can run Java files!)
• How to design a rocket and customize it
• Tips: change units from imperial to customary, experiment with weather settings

Our next meeting will be on Monday, August 14, from 12-2pm at 101 Lima Terrace! We will be forming teams. Hope to see you there!
