Hi all,

Here is some information that I could gather from the felicity organizers. Could be useful for Spree.
Some of it we already know, but still noting it down.

1. T-shirt printing would range from Rs 150-300, depending on quality.
2. Posters should be printed in more number. It costs Rs 5 per poster.
3. The following companies could be approached for sponsorship  :
    a. TCS - ( I know a regional / engagement manager there)
    b. ADP - they did the major sponsorship for Felicity and chances are that they could contribute a little to us.
    c. EIT - I am not sure, but I can talk to them and find out.   
4. Microsoft and CA may not sponsor, because they generally do not sponsor twice. They already did for Felicity '08
5. The procedure for approaching these companies:
     a. Mails do not help. No one replies.
     b. We need to have a contact from each of the companies we plan to approach and through them we should talk to HRs   
     d. We need to go to them with posters about fest, show them a ppt on msit , or fest websites
     d. We have to show them where their company logo would appear, on site, banners etc.
     e. We need to quote almost double the price , because they will give us almost half the price that we quote :)
     f.  We need to have events like programming, networking etc which would interest the companies. Some events should be related to what the companies do :(
    g.  We should go with a few girls in the group :P ( This is what people told me, I am not saying it :( )

6. I know of one very good caterer, will have to contact him to get the details. Will let you know in a few days.
