Younkers fund raiser

Hi everyone,

I talked with Paula yesterday about the fund raiser.  Yesterday at practice each player should have received an envelope with 5 Younkers coupon books to be sold at $5 a piece.  This is a totally voluntary fund raiser and there will be no penalty if you don't sell any.  The ones not sold do have to be returned however, or you will have to pay for them.  Paula explained that this opportunity came up suddenly and is too good of a deal to pass up.  We get the whole $5 plus a percentage of sales from the booklets.  As long as we return the unsold booklets there is absolutely no cost to us.  The money will go to buy uniforms for the teams.  The club will wait until we have enough money to buy for both boys and girls teams before any uniforms are bought.  There will also be someone at a table selling booklets at the homecoming game this week which will help our efforts to get new uniforms by next year.  Paula will get any further info out as it becomes available.
