Hello!

Our soccer coaches and administration just found out that our JV1 team is registered for the Lakeland High School soccer tournament near Minoqua,  WI next Saturday. (It looks like someone registered the team a while ago but didn't communicate it to our current leadership.) Our team has participated in this tournament in past years, and it's usually a good one.

Since it's such short notice, our coaches are asking that you tell your players whether they can attend next weekend. We'll also need to figure out which families can drive, and who needs rides.

Our team would play two games, and the first game is 10:30 a.m. Central Time. It takes about 3 hours to get there, so families should be able to leave Marquette around  7 a.m. and get there an hour before the game for warm up. This can be done as a day trip without the need for a hotel. If, however, if enough families are interested in finding hotel rooms in the area, we can ask what's available in the area. These are the directions from last year:
Fields are 7-9 minutes away from Lakeland High School.
(9573 State Hwy 70, Minocqua , WI 54548)
We'll double check whether it's the same this year.

Also, last year at this tournament, we did a team trunk lunch, where each family brought one part of a lunch (bread, meat, bag of chips, veggies, fruit, drinks, etc.). It seemed to work well, so if we'd like to do that again, we can coordinate it.

The first question, though, is whether your players able to attend next Saturday Please have them tell coach at this mornings game, or if you don't get this email in time, please reply to this message.

We already had to get a carpool for Ben next weekend and we would have to do the same for Willie.

Cindy, we're happy to drive Willie if needed.

Hello,

Thomas Truckey can play on Saturday in Minocqua and I'll be happy to drive.  I can take two players with me, so let me know if anyone needs a ride.
