Poll: Invitation to Traverse City JV tournament on Saturday, 9/30, Homecoming Weekend

Hello!

Our team has been invited to play a JV tournament in Traverse City on the weekend of Friday, 9/29 and  Saturday, 9/30. We might have games on Friday, which would require leaving Marquette early on Friday. We would stay in a hotel on Friday night, which means players would miss the homecoming dance that evening.

Please ask your players whether they'd like to spend homecoming weekend with their team mates or their dream dates.

If we get enough players who want to play, our leadership will enter us in the tournament, help us get a block of hotel rooms, and we can start making carpool arrangements (no bus). Please let us know in the next couple of days, so we get the ball rolling before we run out of time... 

And so you know whether to get homecoming tuxedos or Speedos (for the hotel pool, if there is one).

Unless Tommy gets someone to cover at work for this Saturday he won't be able to play.  

Traverse City could be a yes if he can ride with someone .... but he has a volunteer thing in the morning for school he can't change, so I'll have to watch that.

Since taking on the Minoqua Tournament, we are honestly not interested in the TC trip. Fall is a very busy time for us and no way to take off early Friday. Rushing and driving down 5 1/2 hours after work almost sounds painful. Nevertheless, we are just one vote, and we hope the best thing (for everyone) happens.

Nobles would be out for a TC trip (we just went there last weekend for varsity).  We have had soccer games just about every day and weekend with two boys on two teams.  We love it, but we get burned out fast.

Owen Osier will be at the Minocqua game however, the Traverse City tournament doesn't sound well timed being that it is homecoming at MSHS and that is a terrible weekend to be away from your home town. Osier family vote would be not to attend.

That should have said are we having two games on Saturday in TC?  Would we need a hotel room for Saturday night?  Carson wants to play not sure we will be able to drive, there is a possibility he may need a ride and of course we would help out with gas and hotel.
