Housing in AA - any room mate interest?

Hi Everyone!

Background:

Like all of you I'm starting to get into the housing situation in Ann Arbor (AA or A2) for Jan-Dec 2014.  I've been looking at a few places and narrowed down a few spots that look to balance convenience, amenities, and cost.  All of my identified options are located off campus.

Issue: 

A lot of these places are surprisingly expensive - ranging $900-$1500 per month plus utilities (add an additional +$200/month) for a one or two bedroom.  However, cost per person drops substantially if you get a roommate.

Question

Just curious if anyone has interest in being roommates for a decent 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment located off campus (unfurnished).  

If so - email or contact me and I can look more into 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartments to find potential location matches.  Also, we can start to talk individually about living habits etc just to ensure things will work out :)

Once I have a list compiled, I'll happily share it with anyone who is interested in case they also want to look into apartment options.

The user-friendly website includes a Roommate Finder and Message Boards accessible only to UM students, faculty, and staff. To log in, simply use your uniqname and Kerberos password. The Roommate Finder will allow you the unique opportunity to find a roommate or subtenant within the University of Michigan community.

Hi Tai

Since the students of 2014 will be leaving when we get there, is that possible to have someone make some connections in between? I think their housing condition fit us in most case, maybe we can just move in and resume their lease.

January is not a big season for new student, I am afraid there are only some very limited choices. Thank you.
