CBS/DS Engineer
Report to: Carrier & Software Manager
Location: Kenya
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for on-site survey, installation, commissioning and maintenance of Mediation / Provision / Interconnect systems, IN (Intelligent Network) OCS (Online Charging System), Billing or CBS (Convergent Billing System).
· Provide technical support to customers through remote and on-site trouble-shooting.
· Provide technical solution and hands-on support on Mediation / Provision / Interconnect systems, IN (Intelligent Network), OCS (Online Charging System), Billing or CBS (Convergent Billing System) Hardware installation supervision.
· Plan and carryout Software installation / upgrade, configuration and commissioning.
· Work to resolve technical product issues and meet the laid down SLA’s.
· Engage with R&D for critical issues to resolution, Perform reviews of solution, Method and procedure.
· Ensure proper customer handoff with solution delivery.
· Co-operate with project team and relevant staff during equipment installation and project implementation period.
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor degree or above in Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunications/ Computer Science or related field of study.
· Minimum 3 years experience in , installation, commissioning and maintenance of Mediation / Provision / Interconnect systems, IN(Intelligent Network) OCS (Online Charging System), Billing or CBS (Convergent Billing System) or data communication environment.
· Should have the work experience & knowledge about UNIX, Linux, Oracle DB, SQL, HTTPS, SOAP, DCC, Networking etc
· Should have programming knowledge, preferably java.
· A UNIX/LINUX Shell scripting, PL-SQL skill is a must.
· TCP/IP Routing and protocols and ITIL — certification is preferred.
· Should have good communication skills.
Software Support Engineer
Report to: Carrier & Software Manager
Location: Kenya
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Supporting MPESA project Delivery and Maintenance
· Principal Duties and Responsibilities
· Effectively communicates with customer & colleagues.
· Master the hardware and software delivery and maintenance
· Monitors and tracks technical information and issues early warnings and disseminates information as needed.
· As a 24X7X365 organization shift work, holidays and on-call responsibilities may be required.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
· BS in Computer science, Masters a plus and 1-3 years job experience
· Unix, Linux and Windows OS administration(Windows Domain, Active Directory, DNS, and Security)
· Have fundamental Networking knowledge (OSI model, router, switch). CCNA and MCSE certificate is a plus.
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
· Storage & Servers product (Huawei/EMC/IBM/HP) knowledge is a plus.
· Additional experience desired:
· Knowledge of storage architecture and RAID technologies. Storage Arrays & Storage Virtualization;
· SCSI, iSCSI, Fiber & FCoE protocols ;NAS,NFS,CIFS,SAS protocols
· VMware vSpherer /Hyper-v/Citrix XenServer; VMware View/Microsoft VDI/XenDesktop,VERITAS VxVM /VxFS and clusters .
· Familiar with SQL/MySQL/Oracle Database /RAC/ASM.
· Shell scripting, PERL for automating tasks; Kernel internals for debugging.
Product Manager
Report to: Sales Manager
Location: Kenya
REQUIREMENTS

Subcontractor Manager
Report to: PMO Director
Location: Kenya
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ensure the work done by the subcontractors met quality requirements and be the high level interface to the customers work.
· Follow up on subcontractor’s payment.
· Compile regular project, quality progress and other reports as required internally and externally.
· Manage sub-contractors during project rollout.
· Shall be able to solve any disputes that arise.
· Work together with the project managers to ensure work delivered by the subcontractor runs smoothly.
· Provide training to subcontractors.
REQUIREMENTS
· Preferably have a technical or managerial qualification
· At least 2-3 years working experience.
· Must have excellent budget control & management skills.
· Must have good communication skills and negotiation skills.
· Must be able to work under high pressure and be willing to work long hours when required.
Right Of Way (ROW) Engineer
Report to: Project manager
Location: Kenya
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Give clear SOW requirements to a wayleave agent based on our contract way leave requirements.
· Provide project way leave documents that are needed by the client and submit to a wayleave agent.
· Check and ensure the wayleave documents got from way leave agents are correct and submit way leave documents to client for approval.
· Solve wayleave disputes on field.
· Should work with clients and way leave agents to acquire all kinds wayleave documents requires in projects such as NEMA, KURA,KENHA, city council permits.
· Will be responsible for internal processes and IT platforms for subcontractor management.
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor in Physical planning or any other related field.
· Should be conversant with acquisitions.
· Strong communication skills.
· Should be conversant with Environmental matters and government policy on Planning Approvals
· Must have strong managerial and negotiation skills.
· Must be able to work efficiently under a lot of pressure.
Quality Control Engineer
Report to: Project manager
Location: Kenya
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ensure site quality process is being followed and implemented according to customer requirements.
· Daily reports to QA and Project Manager.
· Prepare and circulate project QEHS report and follow-up and corrective/preventive actions internally and from Suppliers and subcontractors.
· Provide technical assistance to subcontractor’s engineers and supervisors in resolving quality control issues and engineering related problems as per agreed QA/QC quality program, procedures, designed specifications and standard specifications.
· Must support and advise on quality solutions on site when necessary.
· Support the development, maintenance and monitor the execution of project/customer specific quality plan.
· Conduct QEHS training and keep QEHS records up to date.
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor in telecommunications/Civil engineering or any other related field.
· 1-2 year experience in site quality control.
· Must be willing to travel.
· Must have strong managerial and negotiation skills.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Must be able to work under high pressure and be willing to work long hours when required.
