Hey Antonio Yarid,

I will be in Munich on 14 September. I have also a room at the Residence of Heiglhofstrasse so it won't be hard to meet!
What's your first impressions from the Residence? Any advice before I arrive?
I am supposed to get a single room with shared bathroom and kitchen.

See you there

Eftihis

Hey Eftihis ,

Well my impressions are that the residence is not very clean hahahahah but it is ok for the price, the flats have 2 or 3 rooms and you share the kitchen with the whole floor.

You should definitely bring your own bed linens, blanket  and pillow because you won’t have any in your room specially if you arrive at night and don’t have time to buy them, I spent a very cold first night because I did not bring any.

Hope to see you soon

Hi Antonio!

I will be staying in Heiglhofstraße too.
I might be in Munich on 18 Sept for a day if ZV is able to pick up the key for me.
How big is the room? Is it enough to fit 2 persons? My friend might wanna sleep over there...

I think that the room is big enough to fit another person if you arrange to move some of the furniture here, actually two friends of mine are coming too and I will do my best to fit them haha.

See you soon emmy

Hello Ananda,

Food in Munich is just fine, you can find almost everything from all over the world I think, personally I like the Turkish food jeje.

I met the coordinator of our program because I am facing some problems with my TOEFL test and my bank account so I went to see her and she is nice and very helpful, I am sorry but I forgot to ask her about the last time of arrival in Munich but I think it will be around the middle of October when the courses begin.

Take a look at this websites and you will see the deadlines.

Hey man,

You can crash on my place, the only problem is that there is no other bed so
you need to bring your own sleeping bag.
Let me know when you are coming.

apartment, so if I don't get it, I will try to stay in your place for

Hi all,

I`m a little bit jealous of you, because you all have dormitory rooms,
and you already know now, where to live. I don`t know why, but I
didn`t get dorm room, so I still don`t know where to live when I`m
arriving... I will be in Munich from about 24th September. Does
somebody has the same problem, I mean you need to rent a flat?
Because we can share it together.

Bye, and for those who have been already in Munich, have a great time!

Hi!

I have exactly the same problem. I am hoping to go to Munich next week to search for appartments. Many good offers so far have been unfirtunately taken already by the time I wrote an e-mail to the owner - we are not alone there searching for appartments...

PS! Unfortunately I have found several offers from the websites which are actually fraud - if it seems too good to be true be very careful!

Hope to see You all soon!

Hi All,

Thank you for the supporting emails!
Huseyin: as you suggested, I called today Miss Tanja, but she wasn`t
available, so I wrote her an email... Let`s see! I hope there will be
good news... :-)

As I am one of us, who live to Munich the closest, I become a little
bit lazy... So I just want to ask you, who are already in Munich, how
are your days? All of you have dormitory rooms? Do you handle the visa
or residence permit now?

I wish you good luck to manage all those administrative things!
Do you have some experience? I will go to Munich in the end of the
next week, and I plan to manage the residence permit, flat renting,
and health insurance only that time.

Last question: do you know anything about the school starting?

Bye,

Nora

Hey Nora,

I am actually in the middle of all the administrative stuff and I still haven't gotten the residence permit, but I will sometime within this week, things are actually going smothly for me but I need to tell you something, I was at the admision office today and they told me that the last day for enrolment will be the 15th of this month, therefore I don't know if you can manage to get the health insurance from your country because this is a requisite for enrolment. You should call them and ask them if you can handle this healt insurance certificate later. Anyways I wish you the best luck and see you soon in munich.

I hope you mean October 15 too, because Dr. Rau wrote in his letter
that we could get health insurance in the beginning of October when we

Yes, Vytautas, I hope you`re right. I think it, because the things we
ought to manage (like health insurance, police, residence permit)
needs personal attendance.
I think there is no need to worry, because Mr Rau always warns us,
when there is an important deadline...

By for now, and have a peaceful rest for the last days... :-O

Don’t worry too much about the deadline dates, as Nora said Mr. Rau always warns us about this stuff and it is high probable that what the people of the administration office told me is false information. Just enjoy your last days in Bangladesh.

I haven't got any thing yet. I am still waiting for a response from Prof. Rau but I think I should think of alternate options. On the other hand, I think it is a good idea for students of same course to be together since there will be plenty of scope for co-operation. So, what are you planning regarding sharing..like boys/girls or ethnicity ? I hope you understand what i mean...Let me know.
