We're looking for young researchers who are paving the way in climate
policy and climate science!

SustainUS and its Citizen Science program is planning a press
conference for UNFCCC COP16 in Cancun with the working title "What is
the future of climate change science?"

We hope to highlight the work young people are doing to encourage
progress in the negotiations, to increase the potential and
implementation of mitigation and adaptation strategies, or other
related topics. Young people are not only the "next generation" of
leaders, they are leading now. We want to showcase our research and
hopefully address how young people can conduct robust climate science
in the face of continued denialism and political stagnation.

If you are involved in or leading this type of original research and
are under 30, please contact Emily McGlynn (emily....@gmail.com)
before September 20 for more information on how you may have the
opportunity to present your work to the press in Cancun. Please note
we hope to include examples from both the natural sciences and the
social sciences, preferably work with strong implications for near-
term policy implementation.

We're excited to work with you!

Best regards,

Emily
