Dear Student

The Examinations for Semester 2 (2014) & Semester 1 (2014/2015) – November/December 2014, have been scheduled from 25 November to 22 December 2014 (for SBMF).

Attached are the following: -
1.      Letter from AO SBMF Exams.
2.   Examination Time Table pertaining to your COHORT (NOTE: You should attempt papers according to your Module Registration / Exam Entry Forms)
3.      Relevant extract from the regulations
(The Examination Regulations can be accessed from the UTM Website: www.utm.ac.mu)

Your attention is drawn to the following:
·       Candidates should NOT be in possession of any unauthorised materials once in the examination room.  All mobile phones should be switched off, kept in your bags and placed in the designated areas.  Should you be caught with unauthorised materials/devices, please note that same will be confiscated.
·        Student caught cheating or in possession with unauthorised materials, will be severely penalised according to the Rules and Regulations of the Disciplinary Committee.
·         You should be seated strictly according to the seating arrangement.  Production of your student identity card will be MANDATORY for each examination paper.
·         Students are required to communicate with Chief Invigilators and Invigilators only, once in the Examination rooms.
·    The onus of writing the proper Student ID on the answer scripts relies solely on the student.  Submission of the Answer Booklet/s without properly writing the Index number that is, the Student ID number, may lead to failure.
·         Students finishing earlier than students from other cohorts are required to leave the examination room without creating any sort of disturbance.
·       Do check the UTM website regularly for updates (the external moderation is still ongoing, hence, we may have few cases where there can be changes in duration, also we may also have change in exam room if we get more Students than expected, it should be noted that Students are still submitting forms and we, as far as possible do our level best to help Students).
IMPORTANT - ‘SUBMISSION OF MEDICAL CERTIFICATE’:
According to UTM Regulations, Medical Certificates should emanate from state Medical Practitioner and same should be submitted within 2 working days to the Administrative Officer (representative of the Registrar) SBMF Exams.  The Medical Certificate should be accompanied by a letter, stating clearly the name and cohort of the student as well the module/s and date/s of examination the Medical certificate/s cover/s.

Wish you all the best for your examinations.
