MSA Election 2009-10 term

Assalam Alaikum,

The Muslim Student Association at UWM have begun their annual elections for the 2009-20010 term. Email announcement was sent out on April 31 to the MSA Active members to submit their nomination by May 8. After submitting of nominations the ballots will be sent to the Active members and voting process will begin.  The whole process shouldn't take more than 3 weeks.  We anticipate by May 14 to send an email announcement of the newly elected MSA officers. Please stay tuned!
  
The following positions are up for elections:

i.      President
ii.     Vice-president
iii.    Secretary
iv.     Treasurer
v.      Event Coordinator
vi.     Da’wa Coordinator
vii.    Publicity Coordinator
viii.   Brother Social Coordinator
ix.    Sister Social Coordinator

ONlY Active members vote and participate in the election.

Eligibility of Active member:
To be an MSA active member one has to fully participate and assist in two or more events/activities through out the course of the semester in an organizational capacity (engage in coordinating an event, room setup, publicity, creating an event, Da'wa booth and so forth).  And the active members must be identified by current MSABoard for their involvement and activism.
