Welcomes You to Our Weekday Iftars

Come join the students of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as we break our fast every weekday from Wednesday, September 2 to Friday, September 18. We have delicious home-made and catered food ready to be served up to any hungry person ready to eat it!

ONE CAN Feeds Two

InshaAllah on Tuesday September 15, we will be collecting non-perishable food items, (preferably something canned) as an entrance ‘fee’ to the iftars. Bring at least one, but the more the merrier. This will help us feed those who are more needy in the time of Ramadan while we break our fasts ourselves. The cans will be collected by Ma’ruf’s ONE CAN campaign and distributed to local food pantries.

MSA Fast-A-Thon

MSA will be holding it’s annual Fast-A-Thon on Wednesday, September 16 at UWM’s Union Ballroom. Registration is required, and forms can be picked up in the MSA room (Union 355). All are welcome, but highly encouraged to bring a non-Muslim friend along. ISM will be funding registered applicants with enough food to feed a hungry Wisconsin resident for an entire week. All proceeds will be sent to Feeding America (formerly America's Second Harvest).
