The Muslim Students Association and Women in Islam cordially invites you to the event:
“The Rise of Islam In Africa: A student presentation”.

The Month of February marks the Black History Month. As we live in a world

where race, ethnicity and color are vital issues with which one is so

abominably judged, we have organized this program to shade knowledge on

how Islam had freed human beings from being racially discriminated. “Saying

no to Racial Segregation” is one of our biggest goal to achieve among our

Muslim community. Thus in correspondence to this segment of Black History,

MSA and WII has requested four students to present on how Islam had

come to these countries in Africa. Students presenting are as follows:

Asad Khan                          Ethiopia

Amina Khan                        Sudan

Mashud Abukari                   Ghana

Sadaf Zaheer                       Somalia


Day& Date: Tuesday, February 14th, 2012

Time: 12.30pm to 2.30pm

Location: Newman Vertical Campus (NVC)

Room : 8-155
