Quran Today: 1400 Year Old Solution to 21st century Problems

The Qur'an is the Holy Book to a third of the world's population. Today, scholars consider it a literary miracle and a genre in itself. Scientists still use it as a reference and a tool to their studies. It is one of the most misunderstood and misiterpreted scriptures in the Western world, as evinced by recent political and social events relayed through the media. Come and learn about what is in the Qur'an, and join us in our exploration of truth.

Guest Speaker Ali Ataie is President and Founder of Muslim Interfaith Council. He is a graduate of the Badr Arabic Language Institute in Yemen and studied at the prestigious Dar al-Mustafa. He is currently working towards a Master's degree at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA, majoring in Biblical Studies.
