Junaid Class: Vices of the Soul *
In Surat Ash-Shamsh, verses 7-10,
Allah (SWT) says: "By the soul, and the proportion and order given to it
(7) And inspired it [with discernment of] its wickedness and its
righteousness
(8) Truly he succeeds that purifies it (9) And he fails that corrupts it
(10)"
So the question is what are the things we can do to purify our souls and
ensure
that we are of the successful in the akhira? More importantly, what are
the
things which corrupt it? For answers to all of your questions, come join
us
insha'Allah for the fifth part of a 5-week class taught by Sheikh
Junaid.

Come for a night of revolution through art- a chance to hear the everyday voices and movements of today and a chance to express yourself.

UMMA Volunteer Project/AMP Family Hike Day!!!
Join us this Sunday afternoon, May 23 at Griffith Park to volunteer and hang out with your mentor or mentee.
Kids and their parents from Islamic Center of Southern California will be
coming to have a fun-filled day
So we need lots of volunteers for this event and there will be FREE FOOD!!!
This is
going to be a lot of fun so please try to come out.
Transportation will be provided to the mosque and to the hike site. Please
