Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to God, even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be (against) rich or poor: for God can best protect both. Follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest ye swerve, and if ye distort (justice) or decline to do justice, verily God is well-acquainted with all that you do."  (4:135)

Come join the Students for Justice in Palestine at UCLA for their 2nd Teach in of the quarter. This will be focused heavily on current events in both the West Bank and Gaza.

Join your brothers and sisters on Bruin Walk after Salat Al-Jummah to give da'wah and spread the word of Allah (swt) or just come watch!

QUARTERLY QURAN QUEST

Salam brothers and sisters. InshAllah this quarter we will have a Quran competition. The purpose is to strengthen our bond with Allah (swt) and what better way to do it than through His word ? It is not about who is the best reciter, or who has the best voice; the intention is for all of us to strengthen our bond with the Quran and ultimately become closer to Allah (swt). If you are interested, there is more information attached at the end of this email.
