An opportunity has arisen to join the CTM Kenya Ltd online division as a Webstore Sales Executive. This role will offer extensive responsibility from day one as you will work closely with the webstore manager and retail store team to ensure that customers are getting their online deliveries on time and accurate information on products inquired about through our eCommerce website, email or phone.
You will work with all the products that CTM Kenya offers. It will be your responsibility to follow up on cold leads and missed opportunities by offering a better online deal and ease of mind. You will also brief the customer so that they have a full understanding that they are buying the right product and suitable for the area the wish to use the product.
The main products you will be working on are ceramic & porcelain tiles, sanitary ware, brassware, décor, accessories and kitchen ware, however not limited to.
Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Working closely with the Webstore Manager on customer orders on a daily basis and following up on cold leads by email or telephone.
- Updating product information as well as enabling and disabling products that are back in stock and out of stock respectively.
- Checking incoming payments and ensuring all paper work is in order and sent to the respective store dispatch managers.
- Calling transporters and getting custom delivery quotes to the customer’s premises or delivery destination.
- Answering the phone in a professional and positive manner, getting the customer excited about the product and the product you are offering is the right one they should buy.
- Processing sales on the company SAP system and sending the invoices to the customer and advising on delivery date and time.
Job Requirements
- Good Verbal and written English.
- Knowledge of everyday computer applications and common Microsoft programs as well as simple computer trouble shooting and installation.
- Knowledge of using Microsoft Outlook and Excel is essential.
- Ability to sell a product over the telephone and convincing customers to buy.
- Working knowledge of SAP would be an added advantage but not necessary.
- Graphic design skills also an added advantage but not essential.
- Knowledge of simple HTML will also be an added advantage but not essential.
Education and Experience
- A minimum 2 years experience in retail or a sales environment required.
- A university/college degree in a computer or business oriented field.
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player, able to work under pressure and multi-task efficiently.
