Hadith of the week
It
is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah
(may peace be upon him) observed: He who believes in Allah and the Last
Day should either utter good words or better keep silence; and he who
believes in Allah and the Last Day should treat his neighbour with
kindness and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day should show
hospitality to his guest.
Sahih Muslim Book 1, Hadith 75
Aya of the week
And
do not turn your cheek [in contempt] toward people and do not walk
through the earth exultantly. Indeed, Allah does not like everyone
self-deluded and boastful. And be moderate in your pace and lower your voice; indeed, the most disagreeable of sounds is the voice of donkeys.
