Duaa

Salam Alyakum Everyone!!!
Duaa (supplication) is regarded one of the most important worship/beneficial in the religion of Islam. Everyone single one of us performs a certain type of Duaa for which we are in need of. It allows us to maintain a relationship with Allah (swt). In the Quran Allah (swt) states, “And your Lord says: "Call on Me; I will answer your (Prayer): but those who are too arrogant to serve Me will surely find themselves in Hell - in humiliation!" (40:60)
Another verse in the Quran states, “When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me: Let them also, with a will, Listen to My call, and believe in Me: That they may walk in the right way.” (2:186) Notice here the mercy of Allah (swt), even though all of us are sinners, at times we are ungrateful, and yet he stills addresses us as his servant.
But then many of us have noticed even though we perform duaa for days, weeks, or even years, are duaa is not answered. Why is this? Imam Ali (as) gives us this answer in Duaa Kumayl “Oh Allah forgive those sins, which block my duaa from being answered”
Inshallah, may Allah (swt) continue to guide us on his path,
and keep the shatan away from us. Inshallah, we all succeed in our studies, and
may Allah (swt) continue to bless us, and our families ameen ya rab.
