I hope everyone is doing fine and that exams went well. dont worry too much if they didnt...there are still 3 more...keep up the good work.

I apologize to the first term students on behalf of MSA for being this late but nevertheless we would like to welcome you all to our small group. We will try to be more active for the rest of the term.

There will be a meeting/meet-and-greet on thursday feb 4th at suraz classroom 1 at 3:00 pm. I request everyone to come and participate. We have to start planning for the potluck and some other events.

Thank you once again to all those who showed up at the meeting.

 

Since none of the first termers showed up, I am assuming there was a time conflict. I know 2-3 people had orgo...1 person informed me...If I knew majority had class or a time conflict I could have rearranged the meeting...Maybe people didnt get my email or didnt check it. I will try to find out. Please let me know if it was due to time conflict because I would like more of you to attend the meeting. And it was more important for the first termers as they dont know about the upcoming events.

 

At the meeting, we decided on a date for the potluck. Inshallah it will be on March 6th 2010 at 5 pm (Suarez).

 

For those who dont know, we encourage everyone to cook something for the potluck. We have a video presentation in the first half followed by food in the second. Keep your receipts for whatever you buy even if you dont want to get money back. We need them to get money from the school. We would like to have some input on the video presentation. If anyone has any good topic or would like to help making the video, please let us know.

 

Also, depending on how many people are interested in climbing the quill this weekend or any weekend, we might take a trip. So please get back to me on that ASAP

I hope everyone is doing fine. I just wanted to remind everyone that potluck is next weekend. It is highly suggested that you start thinking about what you will be cooking if you havent decided it yet and please inform us ASAP. Also, keep in mind that duggins is only open on friday till 6 pm and is closed on saturday morning so whatever you need to get, please buy it before that. I would like the first termers to communicate with upper termers if you have any questions about the potluck and please reply to this email so I know you guys are getting it. Also we need to have a meeting on Monday or Tuesday and I want to know what day and time is good for everyone, specially first termers because no one showed up last time. If anyone can't cook, he/she can donate some money and MSA will arrange something on their behalf.

If anyone has any ideas for the video presentation please inform us about that as well.

 

Once again I would like to say that this group is not about one person. All of us make up this group and everyone should contribute in any way they can.

Club Presidents,
 
You need to provide me with a list of your names, the names of your exec and the names of the members of each of your clubs including email addresses. This needs to be done ASAP so it can be provided to Admin at their request. Failure to do so will result in your removal as having club status and removal of your ability to receive any money from the SGA. This must be completed this week. If I do not receive an email from each club president by the end of the week your club will be de-ratified at next Tuesday's (March 9th) SGA meeting. De-ratification will result in the inability of your club to request money this term or in future terms, as well as an inability of your club to reserve space on campus.
