As Salaam Walaikum Everyone,

Tomorrow/Today Friday April 9th, 2010 at 7pm SHARP(if u check this email after an hr) we are throwing a formal party for the new governor and his guests (family and friends) at the Lion's Den, opposite from the Airport. Everything is going to start at 7pm SHARP. We need to make a clear impression on the guest about our punctuality.

This is the last event where the presence of the Muslims is very much needed. As I said in the last email, we have an opportunity to make a lasting impressions about Islam and Muslims on this island and with everything going on in the world we need to grab that opportunity whenever possible. So I would urge everyone to please come out for a couple of hours and make this program a success, and remember you never know who will be inspired but this event and revert back to Islam.

The dress code is dress to impress. Islamic outfit would be the best way to impress, however, if that's not available then wear something nice.

Transportation is key for people living by the Suarez. So for the people going from here, let me know ( 318-4709 or dd.ju...@gmail.com ) so I can figure out a way to get rides for us. Remember you should let me know.

Once again my dear Muslim brothers and sisters, we have been put in an opportune position to present Islam to the people of Statia and the surrounding island (guests are also coming from other islands). We can either grab this opportunity and show everyone that we are united, we do support each other, and our deen defines us as people and makes us excel. Or we can be passive, and let everyone else describe us; as terrorists, uncivilized, oppressive and backwards because that is what these people think we are. So my Muslim brothers and sisters come out to the event, bring a friend so we can show that Muslim stand together, support each other, and all of us bright lively individuals.

Jazak' Allah khair everyone. Insh'Allah I will see you guys there.
