   22nd - 28th February 2017

Sangam Grounds, IIT M

We expect at least two teams from each year.Do fill the form by 20th February, 2017 to register your team.

Fill the form here.

The matches will be scheduled after all teams register by a lottery basis. 

We will ensure that your matches don't coincide with your quizzes.

Rules:

1.Each team must consist of 11 players 
2 We expect at-least 2 girls in a team though it is not mandatory.

3. Match rules and other details (Prize money,Certificates) will be sent along with schedule on 22nd February, 2017

Dear organizers and coordinators, 

As Dr. Balaji has asked about faculty tea, can You guys confirm if any other faculties are interested to play cricket. If you have a separate team for professor,  three or more than three professors would join from EWRE division. If you don't have any separate team for professors,  we would form a tea with EWRE professors. Kindly send a mail to all the professors asking about their interest of playing.

Dear coordinators, 

Due to a quiz, which is scheduled at 3:30 pm, many players of Team Poseidons (C1) are not available for our scheduled (3:00 - 4:00 pm) second league match. I request,  Kindly shift our match between either between 9:00 am and 12:00 noon or after 5:00 pm. Kindly confirm it at earliest.

Reminder to all the teams playing tonight. Please follow the rules. The decision of the Umpires & Organizers is final.

CEA Cricket Match Summary of Day 1:

1.    Invincibles vs CSK: Invincibles won by 10 runs.

2.    Nenu Local vs Lightening Hawks: Lightening Hawks won by 7 wickets.

3.    Transpo vs Death rattle: Transpo won by 9 wickets.

4.    Poseidons vs Senior citizens: Poseidons won by 8 wickets 

Also PFA the updates schedule. In the new schedule 2 teams from each group will advance to the further rounds instead of just 1 team from each group.

This change has been made to increase MS/MTech/PhD participation in the future rounds and also to increase the total number of matches and make most of the time in which we have booked Sangam Grounds.

We also would like to invite all students whether playing or not to come and cheer your friends and build up excitement.

A request to all teams to abide by the rules and be punctual.

Dear all, 

You have updated the new schedule as per our request, as I said many of our players are busy in quiz. However,  still I can see the old time table,  where it is mentioned that our match (Team Poseidons)  is at 2-3 pm instead 8-9 pm. Kindly look into this, and stick to the schedule which was revised before starting of CEA cricket. Kindly call me at 8056224054 if any further clarification required.

All the cricket matches schedule tonight are cancelled due to issue with the flood lights in Sangam Grounds.

The revised schedule will be mailed by tomorrow after the issue is resolved. We apologize any inconvenience that is caused.
