That's how I understood the course.. it would be from an external perspective.  I deal with the external auditors all the time, so i'm hoping i'll be ok.

But I heard that unserstanding PA2 will be helful for PA1 course and PA1 is harder than PA2.

I took PA2 first...and I also heard that PA1 is harder; however, I think it depends on what you do for a living... I rarely deal with auditors so I'm a bit intimidated by PA1 (I'm taking it next semester).

I'm so fresh of the boat to all these courses. MS2 is good so far ( will see how the exam goes). I'm kind of scared for PA1 and PA2. Especially now that everyone is issuing they are hard. Good luck to me :)

I've taken PA1, and didn't find it too bad.  I work internally, and PA1 takes the external stance, but I work close enough with our external auditors and accountant that it was somewhat familiar to me.  I'll be taking PA2 in the spring (last course!!).
