Subject: Regarding the Canteen

Dear Parents,

     Following are the answers to the queries:

1) Food has to be sent :

    Ruby 18th and Emerald 19th.

2) Food has to be in school by 9.00am,NO EXCEPTION.

3) Sandwiches, Bhel, Sev Puri can be easily made by them during the canteen as per what the customer wants. So, we need to let our kids know of how it is made.

4) Kindly send Rs. 50 in the denomination 20+10+10+5+5,if possible. THE SCHOOL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY MONEY LOSS,so pls instruct the kids to be careful and to count properly after every purchase.

5) This entire Canteen process is going to be for about 45 mins. in the morning break, therefore sending lunch will be the parents call,completely.

6) Any Parent who wishes to volunteer is most welcome to come in. But the no. of Parents cant exceed 4 per class. Parents who wish to witness this need to be in school at 9.00 am.

7) All money collected will be given for charity.

8) Any parent who wishes to contribute can get Nimbu Paani,room temperature and home made, pls let your CRs know.

9) All food HAS to be HOMEMADE.

10) Quantity - About 15 plates should be good enough for each house as this is only going to be amongst the 3rd grade. If you think you need to send more,pls do so as per your item.

11) We will need Trash Bags,Cash boxes. So,pls arrange for them as well as per your houses again.

12) Pls decide amongst your houses as to who can get plastic coated paper plates,Spoons (if required), small glasses for nimbu paani and tissues.

13) Banners with prices also need to be put up above every stall,so pls discuss with the group. 

14) Prices EG., - Idli (2 pcs) - 10 Rs., ( 1 pc) - 5 Rs....Nimbu Paani - 5 Rs...all prices need to be put up on the Banners.

15) Banners can be made by the CRs also and used for both the days by both classes,if all the houses confirm their Prices for the Food Items by tomorrow.

16) IMP NOTE: THIS IS A CLASS/HOUSE ACTIVITY,THEREFORE KINDLY INVOLVE THE KIDS IN EVERY DECISION TAKEN. KINDLY ALSO,INVOLVE THEM IN THE RECIPE OF THE FOOD SO THEY CAN EXPLAIN IT WHILE THEY ARE SELLING...

17) This is only a Suggestion: Kids to have APRONS while they are selling,so that clothes dont get dirty.

           This is the first ever Canteen Event we will be having in our school,so lets ROCK it and encourage our kids to have Team Spirit..
