Hi,

I would like to host a Rails Application which is developed in Ruby 2.1.2 and Rails 4.1.1.

I have gone through in Google search, most of the hosting service hasn't update their ruby version.

Please suggest me the best rails hosting service which supports Ruby 2.1.2 and Rails 4.1.1.

Thanks in advance.

Is your application actually using ruby-2.1.2 specific features?

You should update your Rails to 4.1.3.

Hi,

I think Heroku will be suitable for you.
Also if you wish to go for vps I would suggest Digital Ocean or Linnode both are good vps providers.

Flipperhost is good and very economical for VPS….

Hi,

Go with Linode, Digital Ocean or E2E Networks.

You will get to learn a lot like how to deploy a ROR project to a VPS, securing the server, code deployment tools such as mina or chef.

P.S. I am using all 3 mentioned above for production.
