Hey ladies!

So we need to get our project out of the lab. I can keep it at my place in the basement.

What do we want to do with all the extra wood? I was thinking that with the small scraps we could do a bonfire with the class after exams and have s'mores :) But for the big sheets, any idea what we can do with them? Perhaps give them to the machine shop? Or do we want to hang onto them in case we need to use it in the future?

Thanks!

Suhaila

Subject: Worshop lab

Hi Kristen;

Can you please ask the 3B & 4B students to remove any and all of their workshop projects/materials from the workshop lab? Whatever is left in the workshop lab by April 22 will be thrown out.

Both the workshop and computer labs will be closed from Monday April 22 to Monday May 6.

Thanks,
Eric

SO you aren't really supposed to burn wood that has been pressure treated or has a lot of glue in it. The fumes can be toxic so you probably don't want to cook over it. The school does recycle wood to be used as mulch around campus though.

I think that we can take the full sheets to the shop, I don't see any reason to keep them.
