Final Budget

Hi Ladies, 

I haven't heard anything about how we are supposed to be getting the prize money, I'm starting to get a little nervous, have you heard anything? 

I did the budget breakdown today, if we don't get the prize money it looks like Mihika you would owe me 166.09 and Suhaila you would owe me 174.33.

With the prize money accounted for, if it gets put in my name,  Suhaila would owe me 7.09 and Suhaila would owe  Mihika 0.57.

I just took a look at the budget and for some reason it said $10 for the gift cards but it is actually $20 because I bought two. Sorry for the confusion but that will probably change things a bit.

Also, maybe you can email Gorbet and find out what the holdup is? And then just tell her to send you the money, Rachel.

Thanks for calculating this Rachel. Should we wait until the award money comes in or should we just pay how much we owe then just split the award money when it comes in? I prefer the latter because it looks like it might take a while to get the money from the department...

I'm ok with doing it either way, I emailed gorbet the dame day I emailed you guys and haven't seen anything from her yet.

Alright, I got an email from Gorbet, she says that it's a complicated process and that if I can come up with $500 worth of receipts she can probably do something that way. I'm back in Peterborough so I'm going to try and see how much I have in receipts and see if we can get it resolved that way. I'm disappointed that it is taking this long and that we have to circumvent the system to get the money. Do we know if any of the other groups are struggling to get money too?

Hmm I don't think we have. I would prefer paying what I owe now just in case it takes a while to get the award money. 

Also great job on the report and conference paper ladies! I must say I'm quite happy with the mark this term (a huge improvement from last term :) and the project pieces including old prototypes and the poster are at my house.

Ok If I did the math right, and one of you may wish to check it, Mihika you owe me 156.09 and Suhaila you owe me 174.33. It's all in the Budget doc in the google drive.

If you send the money transfer to denom...@gmail.com that should work out well.
