Do we want to take her out for lunch tomorrow? Do we have enough time? If so, we need to let her know and we need to pick a place.

So essentially there is a lot to clean up and only a few things that are new. I propose that we all tackle 2 chapters each (possibly the ones we have written before to make this easier) and then I can put the whole report together. What do you girls think?

Right, I think we should look into it, Suhaila do you still have Eric(?)'s buisness card? Maybe it's worth sending him a quick email and seeing what our options are and what it's going to cost to go through him. If we don't like it Justin Eichel said he has a connection we could use too.

I realized that we never set a deadline on this. The actual due date of the paper is: Monday, April 8

Would it be possible to have all your parts in the dropbox by: Friday, April 5?

I would then have enough time to put it together and hand it in. 

Suhaila, I have made some changes to the Anthropometrics section which is under the Engineering part (your part) but it definitely needs to be double checked.

So I'm just sitting down to work on this now. Mihika if I just post a document with my parts alone in it is that more helpful than the full document with only having edits in some areas?

My other question is where do we write about the challenges that we faced, like our experiences working with the shop or learning to use the tools in the shop?

Yes that is absolutely fine. Feel free to just upload a document with your sections only.

As for challenges, that is in Suhaila's part of the report. Section 3.2

The final report has been compiled. The file is called "Final Technical Report". Please take a look at it and let me know of any changes you wish to see.

One question from my end: Rachel, why do we have two gantt charts that look the same?

Lol you have 2 copies of the same chart because I copied the wrong one, one of those should be from the fall. I will fix that in the final doc right now. 

I don't think that the executive summary get a section number, it's supposed to be like and abstract. 

We switch tenses, sometimes we say the team will, and later we say the dimensions were. I'm not sure which is correct. 

On page 56 there is " (Relationships between Shear strength and tensile strength)" it's in a box like an equation or reference, is it supposed to be linked to something? 

In the decision matrix section should there be a line about how we came up with the weightings? 

I'm pretty happy with this one. Well done ladies!

So the reference thing I was unsure about. I mentioned that we consulted with experts (guys at home depot) and were told that square holes were very hard. I'm not sure how to reference that or if a reference is necessary?

For the weightings in the decision matrix, I'm not really sure how we got those. Should I just say it was based on conversations with potential users, survey results and focus group discussions?

The link might help you with the referencing. I'm not sure if we need to add a reference. Perhaps instead of mentioning that we spoke to Home Depot specifically you can just change it to say "expert advice" or something.

Oh I randomly came up with those weightings lol… maybe you can just add a one liner saying what you did in your email :)
