Reminders for the Upcoming Week

Dear Students:

 

Here are some reminders for the following week:

 

1) If you have any question about what assignments are due, please refer to the Weekly Agenda page on my website.

 

2) You have been assigned to write a sonnet on any topic. Please remember to use one of the established rhyme schemes or any combination thereof. For Monday, February 28th,submit your poems to Turnitin.com [Please note that those of you who completed this assignment the day of the Senior Field Trip do not have to do this again]

 

3) This week we discussed the Research Paper. The instructional sheet outlining how to do research (Review of Research Process) is available on the Class Files page. In addition, the specific instructions as to what you will write about is also available under "3MPWritingA Revised." Finally, the list of authors you've been assigned is found in the document titled "3MP British Authors."

 

4) For Monday, February 28th, please also submit a one (1) paragraph abstract on your Research Paper. As a reminder, an abstract is a summary/synopsis of what your paper will be about. Therefore, it should include your Thesis Statement. After you've done a little bit of research, you should be able to get a sense of what your paper is going to be about.
