Optional Assignment and Final Exam Review?

Dear Students:

 

As I may have mentioned in most of my classes, some of you may benefit from completing an optional assignment.

 

Write a 1-page (250 word) critical review of any of the following: movie, television show, song, artwork. The subject of the review is immaterial. The purpose of this assignment is to prove you can write without any spelling or grammatical errors. In addition, you will need to construct an argument (thesis) in your introduction, explain it in the body of your review, and conclude your ideas.

 

This will be due Monday night, 11:59:59 PM EST on Turnitin.com. You can obviously submit this earlier. Or you can submit it at the last possible second.

 

Reminder: Tuesday and Wedneday will be reserved for Final Exam Review. You are responsible for Macbeth, the Stranger, and all the poetry we've studied in the 4th marking period. Please come to class with possible final exam questions that I can include on the exam. Type them up, email them, and bring a copy in a copy to discuss in class.
