Forgot the Jackpot

Dear Students:

 

I forgot to mention what the incentives are for completing the optional assignment.

 

If you write the critical review, without any errors and it sounds pretty intelligent, I'll give you two (that's 2!) 100s...as a test grade. Holy cow! If, however, I find it to be pretty dumb or have ANY errors, then you get a zero (yup, a 0).

 

Wait, let's make this even more interesting.

 

If, in all classes that are taught by me at Lodi High School in Lodi, NJ, fewer than 20 people hand in this assignment, then those students may possibly earn four (4) 100s. If fewer than 10 people hand in this assignment, I will drop the second-lowest test grade (which is in addition to the one I already drop).

 

If no one hands it in, I win.
